In this episode, I get to sit down with Jackie Tapia, a lawyer turned “American Dream Maker”. After 19 years in the legal industry, she made the switch to focus on her new calling — helping clients create their own American Dream. Jackie reveals her personal struggles and awakening in her own legal practice that prompted the shift to the work she does today, as well as some tactics and resources she turned to during this transition period.

It’s impossible to wake up one morning and run a marathon. You need to take small steps to work toward that goal. It’s the same in business — celebrate small wins along the way to sustain yourself as you make gains towards achieving your goals. If you’re struggling with figuring out what will give you fulfillment, Jackie recommends finding a coach and doing the deep, tough work on your own personal growth and development and listening to your intuition about what fulfill you. Jackie also shares her secret formula: Certainty + Action = Fulfillment. Tune in to find out what this means, and for some actionable tips that you can put into practice in your life and business.

In this episode, I want to share with you my five key points to build and support a great team and/or community. A lot of times, when we are in overwhelm, we just try to solve the problem by hiring someone, but believe or not, your work as a leader does not end there. Once you decide to become a leader, it requires action and work on your part to keep building that rapport and providing your team with support and motivation.

Here are my 5 points to consider to best do that:
1. Laughter opens minds — a good mood enhances everyone’s ability to think and be flexible.
2. Always recruit optimists — they need to have the basic skills, but you can up-level them to being great performers.
3. A habit of winning — highlight small wins.
4. Feelings are contagious — whether it’s negative feelings or positive feelings, it’s going to influence others around them.
5. The love bite — create a place of good memories.

Remember, community is not stagnant. It requires action to keep cultivating and nurturing it into something positive that will contribute to your success. Tune in for some actionable tips on how to implement these five points into your team and business.

In this episode, I get to sit down with Allison Larsen, an international speaker, top-selling author of Soul Intuition, and Founder of The Speakers Coalition. Allison’s passion and special talent lie in connecting people, and one of the things she helps her clients do is to craft their message for their ideal client. How does she do this? The trick is to focus on the transformation, not just information.

We kick off the interview by getting right to the root of the problem — the things that people do wrong with their messaging (focusing on themselves and not on the client).

To avoid this, Allison recommends having a problem question and solution question that will help you get to your client’s pain points. She also reveals her simple yet powerful formula for crafting your messaging. Remember, emotion creates motion. That’s why it’s so important to take the time to get to know what your ideal client wants and how they feel about it. When you are invested in their dream, and not just their checklist, they’re going to be more likely to pick you to work with. Tune in to find out more!

In this episode, I get to sit down with Nick Carpenter, Founder of The Legion of Loan Officers. Nick is a veteran from Colorado who left the AirForce in 2005. Nick has been a Realtor®, worked with Keller Williams doing onboarding, and with Benchmark Mortgage teaching agents sales and marketing technique. In 2017, he launched The Legion of Loan officers to create a ripple effect in teaching mortgage professionals skills they could apply in their business to generate and convert leads, as well as get high-quality partners.

Nick shares more about his inspiration for starting The Legion of Loan Officers, as well as his goals and expectations for his company. He reveals the common reasons that people fail or give up in sales — it all boils down to the importance of marketing and lead generation, all the time. If you are struggling with lead generation, the #1, first step you need to take is to create a video that ranks for your phone number. Nick explains why this is an effective strategy and shares a few other strategies and techniques that you can use in your business to generate leads, convert them into sales and develop the right partnerships. Tune in to find out more!
