In this episode, I get to sit down with Ronan Leonard, The Mastermind Guy, and CEO and Founder of Eccountablity. Ronan is from Melbourne, Australia, in his business, he helps goal-oriented entrepreneurs, startups and small business owners get the support, advice, and perspective they need to grow their business, by connecting them to each other through virtual masterminds.

Ronan shares more about his concept of ROI (Return on Intellect) and how can increase your ROI by teaching others what you know and making yourself an authority on the topic. He also explains why masterminds are such a powerful tool in helping you take your business to the next level — there’s no shame in not knowing something in business because everything because business is changing and moving so rapidly. In all of this, the key to success lies in your habits, rituals, and keeping the promises you make to yourself. Ronan shares how JD Rockefeller Dot System can help you in achieving consistency. He also has a special gift for listeners, so be sure to listen to the end!

In this episode, I want to share with you the importance of having a coach. Do you have a coach? Perhaps you do, but if you don’t, it’s time you consider getting one to help you take your business to new heights. Remember, proximity is power, and being around someone who has “been there, done that” helps you accelerate your success.

There are different levels of coaching — Done For You vs. Done With You. I share more about the differences between these levels and the many ways in which a coach can help you in your business. Having a coach gives you accountability and a coach can help you identify your blind spots and help you create breakthroughs. They provide motivation and encouragement, while also giving you the hard truths about your business. If you’re looking for someone to be a sounding board to help make tough decisions and to push you to achieve greater goals, you need a coach. Tune in to find out more as I share all the reasons why you need a coach!

In this episode, I get to sit down with Leora Ruzin, Vice-President of Secondary Marketing at Guaranteed Rate, based in Chicago. She has 12 years of experience in the mortgage space and is also an army veteran. Like Jen, Leora is also a contributing writer for Mortgage Women Magazine, where she recently published the article 2019 — The Year of Me.

Leora shares her thoughts on the trends she’s observing in the mortgage industry in 2019, as well as some of the niche products she is seeing appear in the marketplace to cater to a different group of people, short-term financing, and changes in interest rates. We discuss the motivation behind her recent article 2019 — The Year of Me, and how she sees this playing out in the coming year. Ultimately, standing behind your own truth will create vulnerability that attracts clients and referral partners, rather than deflecting people. Leora also has some advice for people who need to do some soul-searching — it’s all about authenticity, being who you are, and knowing that it’s okay to ask for help and support when you need it. Tune in to find out more!
